About the event
The Conservation Standards are used widely within the global conservation community to provide an effective, outcomes based framework for projects big and small.
The Standards are an open source platform designed by the world's leading conservation organisations to provide Project Teams with a consistent language and structure for project Design, Planning, Management, Monitoring, Evaluating and Learning.
By introducing the Conservation Standards framework into our projects, we talk the language of contemporary conservation, and will have a more authoritive voice when lobbying for desired outcomes.
This introductory workshop will be led by BIEPA Member and Wildlife Ecologist Jayda Bruce, and will include a short presentation introducing the Conservation Standards, followed by a brainstorming session with your Project Team to model "Step 1" of the Conservation Standards Process Wheel – ASSESS.
This is the first in what will be a series of workshops that will help manage our projects for best possible outcomes.
Who's the workshop for?

- Team Members
Bring a pen/pencil a notebook, and a USB if you would like copies of the presentation, templates and other important notes.
This is an exciting and essential tool to work with, not only within our BIEPA teams, but as part of a global community, building a better future.Â
