About the event
The Connecting Community Market Place is an event that Banksia Beach State School (BBSS) is conducting as part of Mental Health Week.
BIEPA members have gratefully accepted the invitation from BBSS for BIEPA to host an information stall at this event.
We will be highlighting the beauty of Bribie Island's natural resources and some of the volunteer work BIEPA does to protect it. This ties in directly with the principles of Connecting for Mental Health through Self, Community, Others and Nature.
As the event runs from 7:30AM to 9:30AM on Thursday 10th October, we will commence setting up our stall from 6:30AM.
Whilst we have a pool of volunteers, we can use just a few more hands towards the later part of the event, to assist with packing up. Feel free to register (up to 10 volunteers) or if you wish to add your name to the waitlist, to assist in case anyone has to pull out, please do so.
