About the event
The draft ShapingSEQ Regional Plan 2023 update is out and the clock is ticking down. We must get our submissions into the formal process by 20th September, and have only until the end of this year to convince political decision makers that they must protect precious habitat and wildlife on Bribie Island. If we do nothing, we could end up living in a desolate urban landscape of wall-to-wall housing developments.
Queensland Conservation Council is co-hosting a campaign workshop with BIEPA and Redcliffe Environmental Forum at the Deception Bay Environmental Centre to help environmental organisations have an impact on the final plan. Visit the QCC event page for more details and to register to attend.
