About the event
The evening will consist of walking, catching toads by torchlight and on return, counting weighing and recording the toads removed from the Bribie Island environment. Children are welcome; they must be a minimum of six years old and have an accompanying adult with them at all times.
Important: For safety reasons all participants are required to have undertaken a one-time induction prior to commencing Great Toad Bust events. Please come at 6:30 if you need this induction, otherwise you can start at 7pm.
All participants require enclosed shoes and a small bottle of water. If you have your own torch, net, bucket, gloves, or insect repellant please bring them along.
