About the event
If you have been to our meetings and followed our blog you will be aware that we're proposing to submit a legal challenge to DA for the block at 99 First Avenue. In this session the project team will explain why we're doing it, how such things have to be done, what we've done so far, and what the next steps will be. They'll also cover risk management, fundraising, and how this will benefit BIEPA in the long run, regardless of how far we get.
Preparation: Please read the report we sent to councillors, which details the various objections raised on environmental grounds. We won't be going over all those again; this session is focused on the process of submitting an appeal.
