About the event
Get educated and entertained on a stroll alongside the unique wallum heathland around Bribie Island. Learn about the tough plants that thrive in the swampy native habitat. Meet the carnivorous plants that supplement the meagre nutrients in the sandy soil by capturing and digesting insects.
The proceeds of these walks are split between Gondwana Surveys and BIEPA, so you will be helping to raise funds for our other projects, as well as raising awareness of our island's unique plant life.
Important: The locations may vary, ticket holders will be notified of any changes by email. Any questions, please call Ben on 0448 516 886.
Please bring your ticket with the QR code (on your phone or printed) so we can check in everyone quickly. Wear footwear and clothes suitable for a bushwalk, and be sun-safe of course. See you there!
