Join our annual cleanup activities to remove litter and other hazards to wildlife from the environment on and around Bribie Island. They are enjoyable, sociable, and the results are very satisfying!

About the event
Last year for World Environment Day we cleared a significant amount of rubbish from the Dux Creek area behind Bribie Island Central shopping centre, including a huge silt barrier that had been sitting in the creek for years. Let's do more in 2024 to restore these crucial native habitat areas to their natural state, starting with Clean Up Australia Day!
This year we have secured Red Beach to Buckleys Hole as our clean-up spot. Please register for this event (button below) so we can estimate numbers and to get reminders and updates. On the day, look for the the BIEPA stall on the Red Beach Access Road. Please wear sun-safe clothing and bring gloves and whatever equipment you have to help collect litter.
