About the event

Join the BIEPA Clean-up Crew for a morning making a difference!  You'll be cleaning-up the next 2.5km of Ocean Beach in BIEPA's Environment Team's  quest to scour the whole of the National Park beach over the coming months.

As with BIEPA's previous marine debris clean-ups,  all the rubbish collected will be reported to the Tangaroa Blue Marine Debris Initiative Database aiding research into marine debris.

This event has been made possible thanks to the generous support of local tour company G'day Adventure Tours and who will be looking after volunteer transport from the meeting point, up the beach,  and back. The clean-up is supported by Queensland State Government Dept of Environment, Science and Innovation Community Sustainability Action grants.

Limited spots, so register now! (Please make one registration per individual)
