Fundraising Campaign for 2026

This new year promises to be full of challenges for nature on Bribie Island, but also big opportunities. BIEPA is going to need a full tank to support our members in their ongoing efforts to put Bribie Island nature first.

To that end, we have launched a new Chuffed.org campaign to raise $30,000 before the end of March 2026! ✊🏼

Encouraging Donations

These campaigns require proactive fundraising efforts across a large network of supporters, so we need your help to get the word out to family, friends, colleagues, and basically everyone you know!

We know our members already give so much to BIEPA, so for this campaign we're asking members to encourage others to donate.

Becoming a Fundraiser

Chuffed allows you to sign up as a fundraiser for our campaign. You will get your own campaign page where your donors can chip in, adding to your own total. All donations go into the same pot but you can see how much of the pot you were able to collect. For those with a competitive streak there is a leaderboard of fundraisers, but remember that every single donation helps, no matter how small.

Building Teams

Later in the campaign we plan to encourage local businesses to create fundraising teams. Each team gathers donations from their own networks and can track their total contribution to the campaign. Top teams will appear on the campaign leaderboard.

Powering Projects

All proceeds will be ploughed into our various environmental protection projects aligned to the association's objects. Our projects are listed under Active Projects on this website, and we have a well-defined process you can follow if you'd like to propose a new project.
