Help us get going in 2026!

There are some big challenges and big opportunities for nature on Bribie Island in 2026, and for BIEPA to continue having an impact we must raise funds to power our projects.

Associations like ours thrive because members believe in their aspirations and commit to sharing in the thrill of achieving them together. BIEPA has blazed a trail over decades, inspiring community-wide support, regional acknowledgment, and significant outcomes in terms of awareness and specific on-ground projects.

Funds are the lifeblood of charities like BIEPA, so in 2026 we will prepare to support the hard work of our members by setting up a Chuffed.org crowd-funding campaign and by running various fundraising events.

Obviously we are competing with other pressing needs from all angles, and it should not just be down to members who already give so much. For this reason we will invite partners within and beyond Bribie Island to act as fundraisers to help BIEPA continue to achieve amazing outcomes, which everyone in the region can be proud of.

It’s important we see this as an opportunity to celebrate, rather than yet another obligation. We can all assist in this success, an initiative which only exists because our whole community has spoken loudly, and acted bravely and vigorously to put Bribie’s nature first. If we win, and nature benefits, we can be proud of our vision and participation. The alternative would be disappointing for future generations.
