Market Stall

More from this Mission Team...

What are we doing?

We run the monthly Rotary Market stall and help provide a stall at other events

Why are we doing it?

Our market stall is a fantastic way to raise awareness of environmental issues in the local community and among visitors to Bribie Island. We also raise some funds through the sale of books and other merchandise.

How are we doing it?

We have a roster of volunteers who eagerly assist with the stall at each event. The more members we have on the roster, the easier it is to cover all events without overloading anyone.

The market stall and stock are kept at The Depot, BIEPA's storage container by the Scout Hall on Webster Street, where it's easy to collect and return everything required for an event.

How can you help?

We need members to help with these tasks:

  • setting up and tearing down the stall at events

  • encouraging visitors and answering questions

  • handling the sale of merchandise

  • managing the inventory of stock

  • purchasing new stock

  • keeping equipment and stock safe in The Depot

Project Tasks

See if there are any specific tasks you can help with to make progress on this project. If every BIEPA member takes on just one task, we will have a huge impact on protecting nature on Bribie Island.
