We've created this new website just for BIEPA members, a place where you can keep in touch with what's going on and manage your membership.
How do members get access?
Members must be registered on this website in order to login and use it. You must already be registered if you're reading this, so good on you for logging in!
If you were already a member, we'll have registered you on the website and you'll have received a welcome email plus another email to set your password. You should also have a subscription to whichever membership plan you'd previously paid for.
New members can join BIEPA by selecting and paying for a membership plan on the Join page. We hope this simple sign up process will attract more members, who'll be automatically registered on the website and have access to all pages.
How do I use it?
Use the navigation menu at the top of every page to move between different pages on the website:
The page you are on is highlighted in blue. The Blog page, for example, is where you can read news articles like this one, posted by BIEPA committee members. Pages can sometimes take a few seconds to load so please be patient. The last menu item goes off to the public website.
You'll need to be logged in to view the members-only pages. If you're not logged in, you'll get prompted to login with the email address and password you used when you registered.
How do I check my membership details?
To see your own membership details, first login then open the menu in the top-right corner of every page.
These options will take you to your membership page, where you can update your contact details and manage your annual subscription. You can also upload a photo of yourself, but that's entirely optional.
You can also choose what personal details will appear on the Members page, which lists all current BIEPA members with their interests and skills. We hope to use this information to help find members willing to participate in future projects.
Why did we create another website?
You may have already seen our public website biepa.org and be wondering why we've created another one.
We wanted to create a website with content exclusive to BIEPA members, where you can keep up to date with our news, and manage your contact details and membership subscription. We plan to add more features over time, to help organise events and projects for example.
This new members-only website will help to ease the burden on the BIEPA committee members, who have previously spent a lot of effort collecting membership fees and keeping everyone up to date by email.
It has been created using Wix.com so that it's easy for committee members to administer the site themselves. Eventually the public website may be merged into this new one, so that it too can be managed by the committee.
Who can help if I have problems?
If you have any problems logging in or using the new website, please email the help desk at: help@biepa.online
